This work is also an ongoing investigation into the most priced possession or object of must Australian’s the family home. I have continued this work as an ongoing investigation and taken photographs in a variety of locations. The image is taken to capture another view point – how do we want the outside world to view the way we live? What appeals to us aesthetically? How do we decorate the outside of our homes as well as the inside? All of these and more are being investigated with the work – Greetings from Prospect Road. From the initial photographs, the images have been transferred onto cake plates. They not only make a comment about souvenirs but also about the very objects that would be housed in these homes.
